  Centre back row: David Gaffney

Centre Front row: Mrs. Collette Muldoon, Secretary

My Name is David Gaffney and I have been the Secretary of The Bullmastiff Club of Ireland on more

than one occassion and indeed I was one of the founding members of what is a fantastic club along

with Stephen Harris and Jim McCartan. Both of who are very well respected bullmastiff breeders/

exhibitors of many years standing. In 2005 I was asked to "revive" this club and we certainly did

that with a record entry of 61 at the BULLMASTIFF CLUB OF IRELAND open show in February 2006.

I must thank Joan Walsh of the Rough Collie Club of Ireland who allowed us to hold that show in

conjunction with her own show and to Thank her for her loyalty help and friendship since then.

I enjoy showing dogs and will continue to show my dogs and meet up with the crowd and I am

approved by the IRISH KENNEL CLUB to judge serveral working breeds including bullmastiffs at

championship level. I have also a lot of experience in training bullmastiffs so if you are experiencing

problems with your bullmastiff be it a pup or adult dont hesitate to contact me, I have helped many

many bullmastiff exhibitors/breeders in the past. I am also a committee member of the ALL IRELAND BULL BREEDS which hold their Annual Champ show each October under the command of the very capable Collette Muldoon.

Late last year my dogs were also chosen to star in a movie which will be released later in 2009. This was a fantastic opportunity to spend the day with some of Ireland's greatest film stars so we will update the

site nearer the time with more details.

If you need any advice on training your bullmastiff pup/adult, showing in Ireland, or general advice on the breed please dont hesitate

to contact me,

David Gaffney
